An exploration into soundproofing a suburban family home from the busy road to the front and the railway line to the back. Careful detailing to retrofit triple glazed acoustic windows was required, alongside improving the overall thermal performance of the original 1930’s fabric of the building.

The bathroom was reconfigured and a chevron tile pattern was installed by a master tiler with an eye for precision.
